About Patrica, Proprietor of Premiere Replacement China.

Unlike other people when they go on holiday, I invariably come back with something to do with either cooking or the garden as a memento.

I love buying beautiful china or terracotta pieces as nice memories from holidays. Things that I may use everyday day or for special occasions - that always hold lovely memories of bygone holidays.

Silly things like a metal spiral potato crisp maker that I bought at an open air market in the middle of Palma, Mallorca. It wasn't very practical because of the wastage of potatoe. But I still have it!

A wooden honey dispenser from the Isle of Wight, which drizzles honey beautifully over hot buttered toast. Why does it taste so much nicer that way?

Loads of terracotta dishes, all shapes and sizes, which are great for using at summer barbeques. Luckily, when in Spain the shop where I was buying them, the lady told me to soak them in cold water to get the air before I put them in a hot oven.

A couple of years ago whilst in New York I bought some lovely china plates, just white plain oval plates but still used a lot today.

We regularly go to an Italian restaurant in Hove, East Sussex.Where they serve the most delicious pudding on very large square glass plates. So I was thrilled to buy the exact same ones in Benidorm.

My husband says we should always take an extra case because of the plates etc, that I buy. Not to mention the gorgeous flower pots as well.

I still have a lovely set of knives from Cyprus as well as a selection of glasses from various countries we have visited.

My souvenirs, to me, are the best way to have happy memories.
This probably what started my passion for selling replacement china. It is because I just love finding a lovely plate or tureen. Plus looking into the history of the manufacturers is so fascinating.
